Your Panacea version: Unknown

Invalid length for a base 64 char array

This error message applies to emails that have failed delivery.  It is received when your ISP's mailserver sends an invalid authentication response.

Go to System - Configure Email Accounts, select your email account, then try the following.  Note: each of the following is a different suggestion.  Each one should be attempted separately from the others.

  • If you have checked This server requires SMTP authentication, then try unchecking it.  Many mailservers do not require authentication.
  • Check your username and password carefully to ensure they are correct.
  • Your username is often your full email address.  Try entering your full email address (e.g. "name@domain.com") as your username - not just the first bit.

Each time you want to try one of the above suggestions you should delete the failed emails from the email queue, then try sending another "fresh" email.
