Invoicing Code Selector

The Invoicing Code Selector is a PowerComboBox  which is used for finding a code while capturing an invoice .  The Invoicing Code Selector is similar to the Standard Code Selector  but it is more suited to invoicing because it removes all the "clutter".

Once you have moved to the invoice details  and are in the Code column you can either click on the  or you can type in a code or a keyword that is in the code description.  When you move off the Code column (e.g. by pressing the Tab key) Panacea will display the drop down (see right) and will search for what you typed in.

The Practice type ComboBox  will have the treating practitioner's  practice type.  If the treating practitioner  has more than one practice type then the Practice type ComboBox  will initially be All practice types, but will allow you to narrow down the search by selecting one of them.

The Code group ComboBox  allows you to search only for codes in a certain code group.  For more information on codes click here .

The search results will be displayed in a grid.  If the code you are looking for is displayed then click on it to select it.  Otherwise you can modify your search criteria and search again.

Note that the Invoicing Code Selector will not display codes that have expired.  This is determined by the Start date  of the invoice being captured and the Applies From and Applies Until fields of the codes .
