Invoice Analysis Report

This report allows you to analyse certain aspects of invoices that have been captured.  You will need to specify the following before generating the report:

  • Use the Date range / Period range selector  to specify what invoice dates should be included.
  • Check items under Items to analyse to determine how the totals will be broken down.
  • Click Go to generate the report.

Click here  for general information on working with reports.

At it's simplest level (with no Items to analyse checked) this report provides totals of all invoices captured:

The power of the Invoice Analysis Report is revealed when you check one or more of the Items to analyse checkboxes .  When you do this Panacea will break down the totals into smaller categories.  For example, if you wanted the totals broken down by Treating Practitioner then simply check the Treating Practitioner checkbox  and the report would look something like this:

You can obviously break down totals by more than one catagory, for example Place of Service  and Treating Practitioner .

The Invoice Analysis Report provides a document map  showing how the totals have been broken down.  Click on an item in the document map  and Panacea will take you directly to that part of the report.

Tip: The Invoice Analysis Report can be used for calculating commissions paid to employees and locums.  If you do not want to pay commission on medicines and materials supplied to patients then use the Invoice Analysis Report to show a breakdown by Treating Practitioner  and Code Group .  You will then be able to deduct the medicines and materials from the commission payable to each Treating Practitioner :
