Interest Defaults

Panacea can automatically generate interest charges  on overdue accounts.  This should be done monthly prior to generating statements.  To generate interest charges  go to Tools - Calculate Interest.  When calculating interest Panacea will look at each account and will decide on whether to charge interest based on the following:

• Panacea will first look at the Charge interest field on the account Settings tab .
• If the account's Charge Interest field is set to Default then Panacea will use the setting on the Interest tab  of Practice Setup (System - Practice Settings - Practice Setup).
