Pending SMS's
Whenever you send an SMS in Panacea it is placed in a queue.
Webworker
then works in the background to deliver the SMS's in this queue to Datamax which,
in turn, delivers the SMS's to the recipients.
When you click on System - Queues - Pending SMS's Panacea will
display all SMS's that have not yet been delivered by Webworker in a grid
similar to the following:
There are three main reasons why there may be pending SMS's:
- When generating SMS's automatically it is possible for many SMS's to be
generated at the same time, e.g. when
sending appointment reminders
. It may take
Webworker
a few minutes to send all the pending SMS's.
- Your computer may not be connected to the internet, preventing
Webworker
from delivering the SMS's.
- There may be a problem with your Datamax mailbox, e.g. you may have entered an
incorrect Practice mailbox in your
eClaims settings
.
