Tariff Code Prefixes Defaults

Certain professions have tariff codes with a "prefix".  For example, physiotherapists have 72 in front of their codes, audiologists have 82 and so on.  In Panacea the tariff code should be entered without the prefix.  However, certain funders require the prefix to be shown - e.g. WCA commissioner and CompSol .

When printing a statement Panacea will decide if it should print a prefix as follows:

  • Panacea will first look at the funder set on the patient's account, if set.  The Tariff code prefixes field is on the Statement Settings tab .
  • If the Tariff code prefixes field on the funder is set to Default - or no funder is specified for the account - then Panacea will use the defaults set on the General tab  of Statement settings (System - Practice Settings - Statements - Statement settings).
